My friend Marcia has come up with a wonderful event due to the nastiness of this campaign Season.
One Lunch Missed (fasting) and instead praying or focusing on a steadfast hands on the Presidency and Vice Presidency. Safety for their Families and a quick healing process.
It's noted as an event on mybarackobama.com and I deeply encourage participation although I would be happy to sign anyone up.
Question: This was scheduled for tomorrow very quickly. Do you feel it would be wiser to schedule it for the 5th or 7th to give people time to get the message out to media etc??
I have a phone call with an Obama consultant tomorrow and would appreciate input.

I did pray and miss lunch that day but it appears that there were few. I feel if we do it in two weeks, I gives people time to prepare to pray???
The question marks. I always pray for America but for all that need a schedule, i'll get back with you when I hear from Marcia.

Thanks! Sorry I've been so scarce. It's been busy! I'm still recovering from the triple punch of Halloween, my older daughter's birthday party and the elections. I worked the polls in my precinct in the afternoon and voters were really positive. Virginia is sapphire blue now, YAY! My county put the entire state over the top (Fairfax county in northern VA) and once we went for Barack, so went the rest of the US. The icing on the cake? Election Day my older daughter turned 5. Best present she could have EVER gotten  . |

Nora---We went through Virginia the other day & I must say it does look more blue.
We stayed at a cabin Thomas Jefferson had built. It was sooooooooooo blue.
It appears their are so many prayer days that no one prayer day got through the prayer test. In this economy and with GW's leftovers it looks like it's everyday!!!
PS. You can still eat lunch.
PSS. Virginia is so gorgeous but it does have a gleam now!

I was a part of one of those "Days of Prayers" for Obama-Biden.
I think we should also have one for Bush/Cheney. I read on Huffpo that Cheney asked Bush to go duck hunting.
I hope you know I'm kidding. I am just kidding but I believe that they will one day have to answer for the chaos they have created. I think one "Hail Mary" or something consideration to compassion is a great idea.
Why do you post so much?
