I just heard on NPR here in Chicago that Obama will be speaking at Grant Park on Election night.  Thought you'd like to know Destiny and any others from the area.

Reddish Blond

I'm a socialist, a commie, an evillllllllll progressive liberal anti american living in a big city.  Living in Chicago no less were we are all corrupt and consort with terrorists.
Just Kidding   Wink
We'll, at least I don't shoot wolves from planes.

All kidding aside, my name is Dalia and when my hair dresser colors my hair it is a wild combination of red and blond.  I thought about the Red reference when I first started using that user name when the Black Dahlia movie came out but I thought "oh no, people won't think that, the use of that is reference is out dated".  But now that all this mud slinging is going on in the political arena, I guess the McCarthey like stigma of the word Red has re-emerged and I might be at risk.  They'll be knocking at my door soon shipping me off.  I hope I'll still be able to blog with you all from Quantonimo.

Vote for Obama, He'll close Quantonimo and therefore  FREE THE REDDAHLIA!!!!

The truth is;
I am an environmentalist, a constitutionalist and a humanist, and a wanna be intellectual.

Glad to meet you.

Dahlia, you sound like my kind of people. I'm from that communist land where nobody's a real American, the wilds of Northern Virginia  Cheesy Cheesy.

Things are CRAZY here, Obama's consistently been ahead in VA by varying margins the past few weeks but McCain's people are vicious here.  A big Obama sign on common property was torn off its posts and shredded with a knife. Hubby and I tried to tape it back together but it was beyond repair.  Bastids.  The signs I put up keep being knocked down within hours of me putting them up and one Obama supporter wrote to our local paper to say a bunch of signs on her private property were stolen, as were signs from her friends' yards.

The wait to vote on November 4th is expected to be 3 to 4 hours long. I'm working at my polling place for Obama and had to tell the coordinator I wasn't sure when I could start but it would be whenever I got done voting. I hope to go from 3 pm to closing time but who knows? I might get stuck in line to vote.

My oldest daughter turns 5 on November 4th. You all know what I want her to get for her birthday.  Disney princess dolls are nice but bigger and better things are bigger and better  Wink Wink

Yes Red sounds like our kind of people.  gee, she would not get into a Palin speech if it was "blackdahlia".  That would be awful (NOT).

I like the name.  Red always seems like the name should be a fiery person.  My kind of people.

A Disney Princess Doll is so cool.  Red please look at the picture gallery and see her little princess.  I want to adopt her but she is attached to her princess.

Darling girl and you know that she is born lucky as to NASA's coperniucus???  It's true.

His speech on Election night when he wins will be remembered by all our Children.  We may remember the images of RFK, JFK and Martin Luther King but this.....................it could change not only the last eight years but the last 60.

Chicago rocks.  I recently was there at Union Station for Amtrack and the Energy was mindblowing!!!

I can not think if it's not an acceptance speech.  I just can not.

Grant Park is going to be packed! hope its kinda nice that day, the wind off the lake is pretty freaking cold!  You going? I have been invited to a dem party out in the burbs with the local county party and will probably go to that.  As I think you know Dahlia I am out here in red country, and boy things are very different than in cook.  the hositility from the repugs who see they are losing power is unbelievable.  there have been death threats on families with obama signs on their lawns.  unbelieveable! Yea, that will ingratiate your candidate all right!

Control freaks or abusers (of our constitution) always get hot under the collar.

Isn't that why they call it red neck?

I would love to be there.  I received an e-mail that I could win a backstage pass as it were if I donated but I always give to fundraisers.

I would love to go to Grant's Park even though I can't make it for this.  I've heard it's great fun.  It appears they are blocking it off for his speech so steer clear destiny.

What a Wonderful night for Chicago this will be.
