Today I have seen on only one network the results of at least ten different polls! First showing Obama with a significant lead and then showing McCain leading Obama on almost every front. You can't tell me these people are not being told what to report! LIARS!!! PROPAGANDA!!!! ~ SCREAMING: THEY KILLED TIMMY!!!!!! ~  |

What's the googlebot & how does it pick up posts?
When you click on 'view who's online'.....if you see a guest with an IP starting with 66.something that's the googlebot and when you see him 'posting' in a certain topic: he's lifting the posts for the search engine. That's how it works. Have you googled anything here? |

yesterday I was seeing alot of antiobama stuff pd. for by mcain's campaign. they monitor for what ads to place too.

Well, we're very excited in our household right now!! Public polls by SurveyUSA for the state of NC that were released immediately after the Repub convention were showing McCain leading Obama 57-38. We were very discouraged at that time. My son said "That's it! We're not going down without a fight!" He signed up to make phone calls for Obama in NC. We learned a couple of days later that internal polls for the Dems were showing McCain up by only 4 points & the internal polls for the Repubs had McCain up by only 3 points. Neither of these polls were released to the public at that time. Then we heard that Obama was moving a large number of his field operations staff from Georgia to NC & we saw an ad in our local paper that said "Help elect Obama. Hiring field staff to register voters." My son applied over the phone Tues., was interviewed Wed. (yesterday) at 1:30pm, & was put to work at 3pm that same day. When he came in last night he said the senior staff he was working with were saying that McCain was up by only ONE point in NC now. We are also hearing that from the news media late last night & today. Biden was in NC this week too. OBAMA'S MAKING A BIG & BOLD PLAY FOR THE STATE OF NC!!! If he wins NC, he will be the first Dem presidential candidate to carry NC in 32 years! And my family is going to do everything we can to help him succeed!! My son hadn't made any phone calls from his list yet when he was hired to register voters, so I will be taking over the phone list. He will be working 5 hrs. a day Mon.-Sat. registering voters. He is going to try to remain at his regular job which he works from 11:30pm to 2:30am, & he is going to school full-time. He only has to do it for 3 weeks. Voter registration closes Oct. 10. I hope he is able to hold up physically for that length of time. Please pray for strength for him!!
Btw, I've learned something interesting about at least one of the major polling organizations. Rasmussen is owned by Scott Rasmussen who is an evangelical Christian who is in tight with Bush. He supposedly agreed to do whatever he could to help McCain by generating excitement for McCain's choice of Palin as VP. It is possible to construct polling questions in such a way as to produce the outcome you want. I would caution everyone to be very wary of any polls Rasmussen is involved with.

My husband has this theory that the pollsters will keep telling us the race is close, whether it is or not so when the election is stolen they will say, it was close it could have gone either way!

That is exactly what I've been thinking Destiny! I just hope they don't get away with it this time. I think it's going to be harder to do now, but I'm not sure. And I am very concerned that once again we will elect someone & they will be deposed by the silent coup of election fraud before we even know we have elected them. Very troubling.

Very troubling indeed! You know I get contacted for surveys, charities etc. But not once have I ever been contacted for a poll on candidates.
